December Daily 2014

I hope everyone had a blessed and happy Thanksgiving. we sure did. I love Thanksgiving and all that it means. I'm so very thankful for so many things in my life, even though there are things I'd rather be able to change, my life is pretty darn good.

Today I wanted to share with you some of my supplies that I've gathered up for my December daily this year. I didn't buy any kits (even though  I wanted/would have loved to) it just wasn't in the budget. But oh, seeing what some of the people have already done with the kits, just makes me wish I would have gotten one. But it is what it is and I've got soooo much stuff that I've had forever that needs to be used so I "shopped" my own supplies for things to use and I'm pretty happy with what I found.
This picture shows all of the stuff that I've decided on using or at least trying to use. I picked up the tray from Hobby Lobby and love it. It fits 12x12 paper and so much more.
I went through ALL of my paper and believe me there is a lot here and found some I thought would look good together and was Christmas-y. There's a lot and I doubt I use all of them, but I have options and that's always a good thing.
I had the Dear Lizzy album already and decided to go ahead and use it instead of buying another album. I'm still trying to decide how I want to do the cover, but I'm leaning toward one idea. Hopefully it works out like I wanting.
I did sign  up for the class over at Studio Calico again this year and got the kit that came with the class, I love this class and I'm excited to see how Stephanie Bryan does it differently than Maggie Holmes.

I'm excited to get started on this project again this year and can't believe that December is on Monday!?!?!?!? How about you, are you dong a December Daly this year?

Fall or Winter

I said earlier this week that I guessed we were going to skip any real Fall weather and head straight for winter around here.
And I guess I was right. We had a cold front come in last week and I do believe it's here to stay. It's been so cold here and then yesterday we had a chance of snow and like I said in my post last night it had in fact started snowing. Not enough to cause no work today, but still. This makes me so happy I can't explain it.
I snapped these snow pictures this morning as I was leaving for work. Not a whole lot of the white stuff, but for it to be snowing in November in southern Oklahoma that's CRAZY!!! Makes me wonder what the rest of winter is going to look like.
I say bring on some more of the white stuff!

Project life weeks 38 & 39

Hello hello! How's everyone's weekend going? Mine has been really good so far and just a little while ago it started snowing!?!??!?!? What the What??? I know crazy, but I'm oh so excited and hope that it sticks and it'll be all pretty and white in the morning when I get up. Getting out of work wouldn't be bad either. :) But I wanted to share two more weeks of my project life tonight. And yep, I'm about a month or so behind, (again) but I'm working on getting caught up!!!
This week started off with David and I just riding around up in the hills spending time together. And it ended with a little shopping trip. Fun way to start the week and a fun way to end the week.

Week 39
This week started out just like last week, with David and I out looking for adventure. It's always so much fun, well almost always. LOL Went to the movies one night with my Mom and one of my sisters and ended the week painting the accent wall in our bedroom that didn't turn out I was hoping it would when we built the house last year. Its white now to match the other walls in the room, and I'm not really digging that and I'm sure I'll paint again but what color and when is the question. Also spent Saturday evening at the lake to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. Another good week.

Happy Birthday......to me

Today 33 years ago I was brought into this world (along with a twin brother). 33 years!!!!!!! What the what????? I think to myself that can't be right can it? But low and behold it is. I still can't believe it. Last night a friend and I took off work and went shopping and then to the theater to watch Sister Act. I loved it, it was so good. Another one of our friends was supposed to go, but ended up getting sick and couldn't. And David is on nights this week, so tonight it was just Mom and me for dinner, but that's ok he's off this weekend so we've got big plans. I'm totally ok with celebrating my birthday for a week! ;)
If you remember my birthday wishlist  then you know that this hat   was on it and I LOVE it. I can't wait to wear it everywhere. It's the perfect Fall hat in opinion. I'm still waiting to see what else I get for my birthday, if its anything else on the list or something I didn't even think of. We shall see.
But for now these flowers and birthday donuts is enough to get me started on the next year of my life. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me and for our family. Happy Birthday to me!!

Scrappin'

Hello November and Saturday!!! Hope your Halloween was great. I'm still eating the leftover candy and I'm totally ok with that. ;) I wanted to hop on really quickly and share a recent layout that I did using these pictures from October. It was a super fast page to make and that the way to go if you ask me. I don't like spending forever on one layout. I mean there are tons of other ideas that I want to get to and if I'm spending way to much time on one single thing then that's not going to work. So if I am taking forever on something I'll put it aside and start on something else and come back to it later.
I love the splash of gold spray ink and thought it was just the right "thing" to complete the layout. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.
