Project Life week 28

Hello, hello!! We made it back from our weekend trip to Vegas! Had so much fun, boy I'm tired. To many  late nights and not enough sleep, but that's what Vegas is all about right??  I wanted to share week 28 of my PL today so I don't get behind again with posting them.

This week was both busy and laid back, just the way I like it. Started the week off with some DIYs and then I was off Monday (which is ALWAYS a good thing) and then finished the week out with a shopping trip with my Mom and one of my sisters. SO. MUCH. FUN!  I'll be back with some pictures from our Vegas trip and a mini is in the works too!! Hope you're having a great week so far.

Today........

-the to do list is long 

-i won't let things get to me

-i will enjoy the sunshine

-i will smile

-is my friday, we leave tomorrow for our next weekend adventure.

Whirlwind trip

This past weekend we headed to Branson with family for the weekend and even though it was a super short super quick trip we still had a lot of fun. We left Friday morning early and got home Sunday evening. It's always fun to spend time with family and get away from the everyday I think. I took my big girl camera, but I don't think I took ten pictures total all weekend and for me that's crazy. Guess I just wasn't in the mood to shoot or was to busy enjoying our activities to think much about it. 

We are headed off on our second adventure this coming weekend and im looking forward to it. It's gonna be soooo hot, but soooo much fun!! 

Planning, prepping, & packing

Finishing up some plans for some adventures we've got planned for this weekend and next weekend. Looking forward to both mini vacays.

Prepping some cute mini albums for both trips. I'm loving these We R Memory Keepers albums I'm really looking forward to using them. 

And because who wants a boring black luggage tag? I'm prepping one of these for our second trip. 

 Packing, we'll nothing it because I'm the worlds worst packer. I hate packing and always always wait to the last minute to do it. Which reminds me... guess i I better get to it. What about you, any fun mini vacations it big vacations still do to this summer or have you already been on one?

Wanted to pop in real quick and share this super simple page I made using a Studio Calico kit. I just used a white background and then threw all of the stickers from the sheet on the page and went with it. Nothing major or time consuming and I really like how it turned out. To finish it off I added a little misting to it. I love the way the black ink stands out against the white background.  Thanks for stopping by. 

Porject Life Weeks 26 & 27

Welcome back! I hope that your weekend was great. I think Summer has finally hit Oklahoma because it was a hot one. I wanted to share my last two project life spreads today and I'll be all caught up. WAHOO!!!

 This week we enjoyed a lot of time outside just playing and riding bikes. I also decided to start sending out more snail mail to family and friends. Nothing major just quick little hello and thinking of you type stuff, but more on that later.

We have deer in our yard ALL THE TIME. It's crazy really. They are in the front and back yard and even though our dog, Gunner, chases them they are still here. I love it. And we ended this week spending some time with family and our cute butterball nephew, Axel. He's so cute and such a happy baby. Saturday was spent at the lake. I didn't take my regular camera because they always grip about it so all I had was my phone so these two pictures are the best, but at least the day was documented right??

 

Week 27

We spent Sunday at the lake too, picking veggies from the garden, dancing in the rain and of course celebrating the 4th of July, on of my favorite holidays. Ok I say that about all the holidays, but what can I say I love to spend time with family and enjoy a good party. Oh I can't forget any excuse to not be a work is ALWAYS a good thing.

 

And I'm all caught up to the current week with posting my spreads. Aaaahhhhh, deep breath, it feels good and I'm excited about it. Here's hoping your Monday is a good one. 



Project Life weeks 23, 24, & 25

 

Hello and happy Sunday!! Today I wanted to share several weeks of my project life album in an order to get caught up posting them here. I'm caught up to the current week in my album so over the next two days or so I'll be sharing them so that in the future I'll be able to post only the current week. We shall see if it works out ;).

Week 23 was a very good week. We celebrated the beginning of June and David's birthday!

Week 24

This week started off with a rainy Monday and iced coffee, a midweek date night, a little DIY, pink lemonade on the back porch and homemade ice cream. A pretty good week if I do say so myself.

 

Week 25

This week we celebrated Fathers' day, (my dad was out of town working), The Fault In Our Stars (this movie was VERY VERY good. I loved it) I made a cake for David's step-mom's mom's 80th birthday and of course the official start to Summer.

Don't worry....

be happy and dance in the rain. Sometimes life gets in the way of that and we loose focus of what is really important. At least that's the case with me. I let work, bills, money or the lack of rather, and some people get to me. Not all the time, but every once in a while those things (and some others) will just depress me and it takes a toll. I try to focus on the good things and the important things in life and not the bad or the pressing matters that can for the most part wait. So I've decided to not worry and just be happy. Oh and of course dance in the rain every chance I get. Happy almost weekend and 4th of July!!
