Project Life weeks 28 & 29

Keeping it simple was key for me in order to get caught up in project life album. Like I've said before I'm all about changing up the page protectors to work with the number of pictures I've got the week and to be honest I'm loving how it looks when I flip through my album. Now that doesn't mean that by the time 2016 rolls around I won't have made up my mind about doing a 9x12 or even a 6x12 album. I'm loving Kelly Purkey's album this year. It's awesome, but still not sure if 6x12 is the right size for me for a whole year. We shall see. Anyway on to week 28
Tried out a new braided hairstyle on Sunday. Left over pool hair and not wanting to wash it will do that to ya, but I'm totally okay with that because I LOVED the way it turned out and will for sure being doing it again (on clean and dirty hair)!! Ice cream is my down fall and I'm not even mad about it. I could/can eat it everyday. We have spent a lot of time in the pool since we got it and I'm already thinking about how I'm going to miss it when we take it down to store when we move.
Lunch dates, movies dates, dinner dates, ice cream dates, any kind of dates with the Mr. is my favorite. I used one of Kelly Purkey's stamps from her sunshine kit several times on these two weeks That captured stamp was the reason I signed up for the Studio Calico Project Life kits and I'm so glad that I did. I have loved every PL kit I've gotten so far, but I decided to cancel my scrapbooking kit subscription because I can't afford both, and I'm pretty sad about that. But I'll make do with what I've got and what I can afford.

I have to admit week 29 is one of my favorite weeks in my PL album, I just love. it.
Maybe it's because this week started off with national ice cream day!?!? Or maybe it was the free printables from Kelly Purkey?!?!? Or maybe it's because I was still celebrating national ice cream on Monday?!??! Either way this week started off great and ended great and I think that shows in the spread.

Ended the week at that lake. It was SO HOT, but SO MUCH FUN! Since we had all that flooding at the beginning of Summer and the lake was closed for most of it this was only the second time we were up there and was actually able to get in the water. Hope your long holiday weekend is treating you right.

Project life week 27

Happy Labor Day weekend!!! I am so ready for a long weekend let me tell ya. Between work and packing up the house of an evening when I get home I need three days to get some stuff done. Not to mention I was having problems with blogger and haven't been able to get a post up. That's why I'm coming at you tonight late, but wanted to get some more PL spreads posted. So here's week 27.
This week started off by celebrating two of my nieces birthdays. There actually birthdays is in May, but life is busy so they were just now getting around to it. And then I was off Monday due to the holiday (I'm all about them holidays) and so of course I made pancakes. YUMMY!!
The rest of the week was kind of a crazy one. That picture of David and me on the top right, that was the night that we first showed our house and now I'm packing it up to move out it!! Finished the weekend off with movie night at home and a pool day ALL day on Saturday. That sunset though.

South Carolina: mini album part 3

Hello and welcome back. Wanted to finally get the third and final part of our vacation mini album up today since I've got several other projects in the works right now, the big one being finishing my week in the life album. I'm feeling pretty confident that I will actually get it completed this year and in doing so I'm hoping that inspires me to finish last years album too. We shall see. But for now here is the rest of our vacation ablum. This last part was the time we spent in Charleston.

Oh so much fun! Boone Hall Plantation was one of my favorite things that we got to do while we were there. It was so beautiful and had so much history. We also did a ghost tour one night and it started out awesome, but then by the end I was over it and ready for IT to be over. Not really what I was thinking it was going to be, but still learned a lot about downtown Charleston. I'm really looking forward to going back one day. I know there was so much that we didn't get to see.
