Kickin' It Old School

We've been living in our new house since November and my scrapbook room/office is STILL a horrible horrible mess. And to be honest its getting on my nerves. Well to be even more honest the whole house is getting in my nerves with how dirty and dusty and much stuff we still that needs to be gone through. I've never wanted or needed grass so much before in my life. I am constantly having to dust and vacuum and I'm sick of it, but for now its what has to happen. I'm looking forward to having grass and my house being clean. I'm not saying that the house will be super duper clean at all times or even most times, but it will for sure be cleaner than it has been the mast several months.

Ok sorry, I'll get back on track. As I was saying my office is a disaster and I can't find anything and because of that I spend more time digging for stuff than actually creating stuff. So slowly I've been going through stuff and getting rid of stuff. Now that may mean its going into the pile to donate or to trash. And before I can get the room like I want and get new organization things in here I've GOT to get rid of some stuff or at least use up some of the stuff that I've been hoarding for years. Yes, you read that right, YEARS.  I've had stuff for several years that the package has never been opened. I totally blame that on my indecisiveness and not wanting to use any products because there could be a better page, or mini album, or idea to use it on later. Well NO MORE!! I'm done not using stuff and it just sitting there collecting dust, literally. And with that some of the stuff I've been hoarding is the first Dear Lizzy collection from Elizabeth Kartchner and wanted to of course show what  I did with the stuff.

First up....
A layout about my bike. It just seemed to fit and it was a Springtime collection which made it even better. I also created a mini album for Easter.
Both projects were super simple and easy to make. The goal was to use up as much of this line as I could on them and hopefully to use it all. While I didn't use it all I managed to put a pretty good dent in it, so I'm happy with that. I've still got a lot to go through and sort out and organization and get rid of and I'm slowly getting there. How do you keep from hoarding cute products?

Project Life Week 13

I'm back sharing week 13 of my album. This week was pretty simple nothing crazy going on in life or on the spread which is just fine with me.
I did go see Divergent just like everyone else, but unlike everyone else I'm probably only one of a handful of people who thought it was going to be better. I'm not sure what it was, but I just thought it could have, should have been better. Maybe if I watch again I won't be as disappointed and then will like it? Who knows.

Project Life Weeks 11 & 12

Hello and good Monday to you! Hope your Monday was great. I'm just glad its over LOL. I wanted to share weeks 11 and 12 today so that I can start to catch up on sharing my weeks here on the blog.

This week was the first time I had ever tried to yoga and I did hot yoga and was shocked to find that while I couldn't do every move I could do some and really enjoyed it. I've been back a few times and hope to continue going as often as possible.

Week 12

I switched it up a bit this week using a different page protector and doing a large photo up top. I'm loving the large photos mixed in and will be doing this throughout the book.

Ended the week with the first day of Spring and happy mail (which is always a good thing). Ill be back tomorrow to share another week or two of my album. See ya then.

You are loved

You are Loved.
found here
Happy Good Friday all!! Just wanted to share this. I found it on Pinterest the other day and of course pinned it. I love it so much. This could be used for anything, any type of occasion. But I wanted to share it here today on Good Friday to remind people that they are in fact loved by the one and only Jesus Christ. This weekend we celebrate his death and resurrection oh him and there is no other greater love.  I pray that people start to see this and believe in Him and all that he has done, will do, and can do. Happy Easter!!

Project Life Week 10

I'm back today share week 10 of my project life album. This week we celebrated a certain 4yrs. How cute is she? Man have I mentioned that I want a baby?! sigh.....

Oh and I finally broke out my Christmas present. My Canon SELPHY printer and I'm loving it. Can't believe it took me so long to get one, but then of course since its wireless I couldn't set it up until we got the internet hooked up, we are rolling now though and that makes me happy. A lot of my pictures will be  printed using this printer. ☺

April Fool's

So I bought a bike, complete with a cute basket for the front and bell!! Isn't it cute?!? I haven't owned a bike in at least twenty years and yes it's crazy just saying that. When did I get so old??  But I may or may not be a little too excited about it, you'll never know. ;)  I am now officially ready for Spring and long bike rides in the afternoon. I'm also going to buy the mister one too he just doesn't know it yet. He'll love it.

Oh and by the way, this ISN'T an April fools joke it's for real and ok I am way more excited than I should be about it. Hello April. Have you pulled any good jokes on anyone today?
