"I'm Taking Pictures."

Last weekend I went to a wedding with Donna and Caylee. After the ceremony started we noticed that Caylee kept doing this with her hands and we couldn't figure out why, so Donna finally asked her what she was doing and in her not so quiet voice she said, "I'm taking pictures." After we laughed for a few moments Donna gave her her cell phone so she could actually take some and pictures and I have to say I think we may have a future photography among us.

I'm mean come on, she got out in the isle and got down low to get the shot she wanted. (hehe)

And she even knows to rotate the camera counter clockwise.

And here is where the bridal party was no longer interesting so she starting taking pictures of other stuff.

Like the sky.

 

And because being a wedding photographer is hard work, a happy dance was in order because it was time to eat.

Kathryn Part 2

Happy Friday!! I hope everyone has got something great planned for the weekend. As of right now I do not, but I'm hopng that will change. Here are the rest of the pictures of Kathryn that I took for my photography class. And speaking of class I got my evaluation back from week one and I have to say that I am pretty excited with what she had to say. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I am loving this class and I hope that by the end I'll be a fab photography. Maybe the images on here will even start to be better. Here's hoping. I have a lot more pictures but these are the ones that I liked the best and I didn't want to do many picture overload posts.

Project Life

Can't believe this week is almost over and you know I'm ready for the weekend (always). I really need to find a new job, one that I actually like and don't mind going to everyday. One where I'll stop wishing my life away five out of seven days. My job now just drains you and I hate it. I'm not sure how much longer I can do it. But ok enough of the drama here is week 37.

Kathryn

A couple weeks ago I started my photography class (the one that is on I want it Wednesday and have been wanting to do forever) and I love it. We have assignments that have to be done weekly and this past week Kathryn was my willing subject. So after work one day we headed out and I snapped off some shots of her. There are alot that I liked so I'm going to break this into two post.

Umm... I'm sorry am I boring you? LOL, I had to post this one, it cracks me up.

Happy One Year, Blog!

Happy Blogiversary!

 

 I can't believe one year ago today I started this blog. I know it's not a fantastic blog and that my posts seem to be all over the place, but hey it's my blog and I'll do what I want. When I first started thinking about it being a year  I thought what a good excuse for a party. But that quickly became a bit much and I thought I'd just make a cake to celebrate. I love a reason to make a simple cake that I don't have to worry about going to someone else and if they'll like it or if it looks/taste good enough. Not to mention I've been wanting to do this rose cake for a while and figured this would be as good a time as any to give it ago and I think it turned out pretty good. I will know next time what to do in order to make it look even better. Most importantly though, it tasted fab.  

 Here's to many more years to come (hopefully).

I really have got to start doing something other than project life posts and hopefully in the near future I'll do that.  But for now here is weeks 35 and 36

i'm loving the quote, that I got off pinterest, "Cinderella is proof that a pair of shoes can change your life" and I TOTALLY agree. Yes, I admit I have a shoe problem, but hey at least I admit it right?!

 

Rainy Sunday

It's a rainy day here, one of my favorite types of days. I love when the weather is like this and I can just curl up with a good book or watch tv nonstop or do something creative. I'm not one to do a lot of cleaning when the weather is like this, I just don't think it's cleaning type weather, but that's just me. I have managed to do a couple loads of laundry (now if I can just get someone to come over and fold it and put it up)! I've been pretty unproductive this weekend and I'm fine with that. I do have project life weeks to share and I'll be doing that tomorrow. I'm all caught up and ready to start on week 38 (this week) and I'm still loving this project and the whole idea of it. I can't wait for the new products to come out. I can't decided which one I want to use to for 2013. I can't believe that 2012 is almost over and I'm already thinking about 2013.  CRAZY!

I Want It Wednesday

Wow!! It's been a while since I did an I Want It Wednesday post so I thought since I came across something that I just HAD to put on my list (you know my birthday is coming up) that it was time for another IWIW. I started my photography class last week (and I LOVE it) so I've been on the look out for all things photography/camera related. I know I know I've already got several things related to this in the IWIW posts, but I love photography and all things having to do with it so I know that there will always be something that I want.

Anyway this week I came across this....

The Georgia- Nautical

How cute is that? And it's a Jo Totes bag. I have one Jo Totes bag the, Rose in Sugarplum and I love it. It doesn't even look like a camera bag and I even use it as my carry on. But I just like everything about this Nautical bag and I think I need it ASAP. As of right now though, it's out of stock, but I'm going to keep stalking   checking out the website and hope that they get it back in stock soon. And when they do I'll be adding that to cart before they sell out again.

I've actually done a few scrapbook pages this past week that I'm glad I got done. I love this picture of David and me and I'm glad I got it on paper.

 



I am a reader, plain and simple. You can usually find me with my kindle in hand (or a book). I love reading I alwaays have. So I'm happy that I finally did a page about it.

I've got a few other pages that I'm working on and hop to finish up in the next couple of days.

Our Happy Little Moments- book

If you remember I first posted about this book way back when I started the class (in March). It's a good thing it was a self paced class becuase I didn't finish it until a couple of weeks ago. I love these type of classes. You get a lot of inspiration and you can do yours whenever you get a chance. Since it took me month to complete I decided I should show it off so here goes....

I really like how this book turned out. It uses a lot of the things I love and that makes me happy! Can't wait for the next class.
