#nationalicecreamday

Like I need a reason or an excuse to eat ice cream on any given day, but the fact that it's national ice cream day (didn't even know that was s thing until this morning, thanks social media) just means that it's that much more okay to eat it for dinner!!! Am I right or am I right. Bring on all the ice cream.  Also printed out these super cute printables from Kelly Purkey. If your not signed up for her news letter then you should be. So how did you celebrate today?

Pfoject life week 24

It's Fri-yay!!! I'm caught to week 24 and that means I'm still way behind, but like I said I've got a plan and I will get caught up, hopefully sooner rather than later. ;) This week didn't have a lot of pictures so I went with a 12x12 and 6x12 page. There's something about this format that I love, not sure why.
Spent Sunday evening over at my brothers and before I know it him, my husband, and two of my nephews were all out working on the boat that his mother-in-law had bought, trying to see what was wrong with it and hopefully fix. Needless to say that couldn't figure it out and he ended up having to take it to get worked on. Monday I skipped out on work early and went with my mom. That pineapple may or may not have been the second one this week that I had eaten all by myself, I'll never tell.
Flowers on a Thursday because it was my Friday. I love 4 day work weeks. We celebrated my second oldest nephews b-day at the house and Saturday I went shopping with a friend and finally bought a pool. An above ground one (as bad as I want an in ground its just not in the budget right now), but we've been it almost everyday since we've got it set it. So much fun. Hope your Friday goes fast and that your weekend goes slow. I'm off to lunch with the hubs.

Project life weeks 22 & 23

Hello all! Wanted to pop in tonight to share weeks 22 & 23. I'm getting caught up and I am so ready to be completely caught up with my album. I've got so many other project that sit unfinished (namely my vacation mini album) that I've decided not to work on until I'm all caught with PL. So that's a motivator for me to get it done so that I can work on other things that I want to share.
This week were still on vacation. Oh how I miss vacation. I'm trying to talk to Mr. into going on a mini weekend vacay and soon. We'll see how it goes. We finished up in Myrtle Beach and then headed to Charleston for a few days and let me tell you, I loved Charleston just as much as I loved Myrtle Beach. Both offer such different things and I think when we go back we'll need to go for longer so we can spend more days in Charleston.

Snapped a picture of the Sky Mall magazine on our flight home. Found some interesting things in there. On Friday instead I ignored the piles and piles of laundry and the inch thick dust that accumulated over the week and went through the goodies I brought home. We had this caricature drawn of us while we were on the board walk in Myrtle Beach and I think it is spot on. LOL On Saturday was David's birthday. He had to work that night so we didn't get to do much celebrating, but I made mini snickerdoodle cupcakes for the occasion.

Week 23 we got back to everyday.
Gunner was glued to our sides from the moment we got home. Guess he was making sure we weren't leaving him again. Monday- enough said. Had to give Gunner a bath because he rolled in something dead, Oh my gosh, it was horrible and this was his second bath of the day. David had already given him one before I got home. Not cool.
We had a breakfast date during the middle of the week!! This never happens. He is either up and already at work before I get up or he's coming off nights or on those few times during the month that he gets a weekday off I'm not off and don't want to get up any earlier than necessary to get to work so going to breakfast is OUT. But this day he just had to go in for a training and didn't have to be there until eight so I got up extra early so we could swing in somewhere. Nothing fancy/crazy just McDonalds but still that was an extra 300mins that we got to hang out with each other. On Thursday all day I wanted chocolate chip cookies and decided that when I got home I'd make some. By the time I got home I had decided that it was just easier to eat peanut butter by the spoonful with a handful (or two) of chocolate chips. Just as good and only one dish to wash. Win Win in my book. Of course Friday night was date night. My favorite kind of night. And Saturday it was just the sunshine, ice coffee, a good book, and the pup in the yard waiting on David to get home from work. Life is good I tell ya. Thanks for stopping by and hanging out for a little while tonight.

Project Life week 21

Happy hump day, I mean Wednesday! Hello July. I can't believe that we are officially half way through this year. Man on man where does the time go? This is the last week of May which means I'm now only a month behind in my album Yahoo!!!
More rain, remembering the fallen ones, and packing for our vacation. I miss vacation and really think we should go somewhere else this summer. I mean we've got all of July to decide on a place!?!?
Myrtle Beach was awesome and I will be going back.
