Project Life week 6
Welcome to Project Week 6. I know I've said it before, but I'm saying it again (and will probably continue to say it) I have got to stop taking pictures of my layouts at night. I don't know why I keep doing it. That is something I am going to work on this year, my photography for this blog. I mean I know I don't want to look at blogs where the pictures are horrible so why would someone want to look at mine when the pictures are not great? They wouldn't, so I will be fixing this (hopefully).
Anyway back to it......
This week started out with freezing rain and didn't stop. Crazy the weather we've had this year. I am SO ready for Spring. I usually love the winter, but this year not so much.
And we ended the week with snow. But Saturday, oh Saturday was great. I love the weekends. Speaking of weekends happy almost TGIF!!

Sweethearts Day
Yep that's right, I'm talking about Valentines Day, February 14. And yes I know that we are already in March, but I finally have internet and I'm beyond excited to not have to blog from my phone anymore. Since I know and use my actual computer to post I want to start posting the stuff I didn't want to mess with on my phone and a whole lot of other stuff that I've got planned.
David had to work on Valentines day and on Saturday too so instead of going out we decided to cook at home and just spend the evening together. No fuss or anything. But since this is one of my fav holidays I couldn't just let it be a plain old Friday night at home. I had all sorts of ideas going through my mind and I wanted to do them all, but it just wasn't going to happen. So I opted for just some cute and easy rosettes and of course the heart banner that I've for a couple of years now. I wanted to make lots and lots of rosettes, but to make the big ones it takes two and half sheets of paper and for the most part I didn't have that much paper in one design so I went with some small, med, and large ones.
No lovers day is complete without red velvet cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries. YUM!!
It ended up being a great Valentines at home if I do say so myself.

Love You
Popping in real quick to share this layout and to remind you that Valentines Day is tomorrow, as if you need any more reminding right? What can I say I'm a sucker for this holiday. I love it and all that it involves. I made this super simple page last night in no time at all. I was feeling
the Valentines vibe and wanted to do a layout about David and I but also didn't want to spend a lot of time and this is the end product. Any big plans to celebrate the lovers day? I've got plans (not sure how big) for a romantic night at home I can't wait! Happy Thursday.

Project Life week 4
And welcome to Project Life week 4. It'll be February before we know it.
This week was a good week, but what week isn't good when it starts with a day off on Monday? I've said it before I'm all about the days off. This is the first year that I've done the title cards like I've been doing them. Other than just adding "week whatever" to it and I'm liking the way they are turning out. Makes them a bit more scrapbook-ish to me. But I've seen a few folks not do title cards at s and use a picture there with the week/number on it and I'm loving that too.
We are FINALLY making progress with the rock situation on the new house and I am so ready for it to be complete I can't stand it. The fireplace is DONE and all we need now on it is the mantel so just waiting on my husbands uncle to finish that and get it hung. This really does make me way more excited than it should, but we've just been waiting so
long to get it done.
I'm still in the process of getting my scrapbook room in order and organized it'll make things so much easier as far as scrapbooking and project life and talking pictures of my layouts. I know what I want it to look like, but them run in to money situation so I'm having to take it slow to get it like I want. Here's to kind day hopefully.

Project Life week 3
Welcome to Project Life week 3. This week was pretty busy for us, but not an overload on photos.
We started the week off celebrating three birthdays. My nephew turned 19, my brother-in-law turned 31 (no pic of him though), and Gunner turned 1. January for us has lots if birthdays and I'm ok with that since it means birthday cake.

Good Morning!
Good morning and happy hump day! With so much going on these days (somethings good and somethings not so good) it's good to just sit back take a deep breath and exhale. Seeing a beautiful sunrise will cause you to think about that or at least it does it for me. It just seems like life can be moving to fast at times and I believe that slowing down and taking those deep breaths every now and then will (hopefully) help put things in perspective. Here's to slowing down and a great rest of the week.

Project Life week 2
And I'm back with week two of my PL. I am determined to stay on top of this project this year.
This week started off with the temps dropping and staying super low for around here. I do not remember it ever being this cold here and I've heardpeople who are a lot older then me and who have lived here a lot longer say the same thing.
I finished the week of with my first ever photo book. I used a pretty new company called Artifact Uprising and love it. Ill for sure being doing more of these books and using them. We also had our first book club of the new year. We read Alice in Wonderland and Ill just say that I'm a fan of the movies not the book. Spending Friday night at home with pizza and a free Redbox rental. Love nights like that. I'm still blogging from my phone, patiently waiting to get the internet hooked up at the house. Oh and the rock, still freaking waiting on that too!! Hope you're having a great week so far.

Project Life Week 1
Welcome to project life week one! I'm really excited about this project this year and want to try new things. I've always liked my weeks to run Sunday thru Saturday so I knew that I would continue that, but couldn't decide if I wanted to start on December 29 or not. In the end I knew that I wanted to start the year off on the first which meant only a few days of pictures for the spread, but I like it way it turned out and I'm glad I went this way.
The first week of 2014 involved celebrating 85yrs, freaking out about the scales, being super lazy and the first date night of the year. Are you doing project life this year?

Project Life 2014
We'll hello 2014!!! I can not believe that we are in two thousand fourteen. That's just craziness, but yet here we are and I for one am very excited about it. I'm excited for the start at a clean slate, to making new and hopefully good choices. And of course at a new year of project life! Yep I'll be doing project life again this year and I can't wait to get it started.

Hello December
Hello December! I for one am really looking forward to this month. It'll be the first full December that David will be home since we've been married instead of just the week of Christmas. Of course the only thing that would make it even better would be if the house was one hundred percent complete and we were gonna deck the halls. Oh well, it is what it is and we are going to make the best if it.
I still can't believe that it's December and this year is almost over. I've decided to do a December daily again this year. Not sure how much of it I'll show since we still don't have Internet and blogging from my phone is a pain, but who knows we'll see how it goes. I did want to share my cover today though.
It's not what I had in mind when I started and in fact I messed it up and had to try to fix and this is what I came up with. Guess it'll have to do. How about you, are you doing a December daily this year? This will be my third year doing one and I'm really looking foward to it since David will be here. Happy Sunday.
