Project Life 2016- Week 1 & 2

Hello and welcome to Project Life weeks 1 & 2.

A few things about my PL process this year. I'm sticking with the 12x12 size album and like 2015 I'll be using different size page protectors in my album. Looking back at last years album I really loved the way the different sizes look in the album. And unlike last year I'm not doing the pictures with a white border. I like the way the white border looks, but I like like the full photo too. So back to that this year.

The more I use digital stamps the more I love them and want them. They are so easy to use and to be able to change the color and size to fit what you need. I'm sure I'll be purchasing  lot this year.

WEEK 2

That picture of Gunner in the hat? I love it and of course the digital stamp.

Still can't believe that we celebrated my oldest nephews 21st birthday this month. Crazy!! I'm still working on finishing up my 2015 album and I've only got December to go. Hope your Tuesday was a good one.

One Little Word: Yes

After debating for what seemed liked forever, I decided to join Ali Edwards year long project of One little word. I'm not sure why I wanted to do it this year, I've never wanted to do it before. In the end I thought why not? So once I decided to it then I had to decide on a word. I went back and forth on a couple of different ones before I decided to go with Yes.

I originally wanted to do an 8 1/2 x 11 album, but in the end since this is my first year doing this project I figured smaller would be better. So I picked up this cute minty 6x8 album and here we are. After the prompt for January from the workshop I'm actually looking forward to February's prompt.

 I'm hoping that I can/will stick with my invitation page. I'm all about the things on this list and hope that this year I'll be able to do it.

Looking forward this new year and my one little word.

Project Life 2016: title page

Hello and happy Friday!!! Finally got around to finishing my 2016 title page. Pretty simple, nothing mind blowing about it. The filler cards are from one on Ali Edwards monthly story kits. The numbered paper clips are Dear Lizzy that I've had forever. One of my goals this year is to NOT hoard stuff. We'll see how that goes! 

This is our crazy story. Here we go 2016.

Project Life Week ?

Hello hello!! Taking a break from my December Daily album to try and get my Project Life 2015 album finished. I've got all of November and December to do, but I'm on  mission to get it done before I get super behind on my 2016 album, I have decided to stick with 12x12 and I'm working on my title page, hopefully I'll get that done and will share it soon. But for now  I want to share week ? the last week in October I lost count on what week it is, but I'll go back and figure it out LOL.

This is my first week of the whole year that I included an insert. I knew I want to include pictures of the girls from Halloween, and decided on the 4x4 square page protector and I love it.

That wig!!! I love it and I love the way this spread turned out. Plus Halloween is one of my faves. Happy almost Friday!! I'm so ready for the weekend. 

Decmeber Daily - day 15

Making a list and checking it twice. Or more like making a list of names with no gift ideas for most of those names. As a matter of fact here we are only two days out from Christmas and I'm still trying to figure out gift ideas for some. Hopefully I'll come up with something and SOON!.

Printed out the list from here. I think I've used it for the past couple of years. It's super cute and really helpfully when it comes to making out my gift list.

But for real send help and/or ideas.!!!

December Daily - day 14

We have a secret Santa at work and it's kind of cool. Makes me a little mad/sad that I never thought to do something like it.

The make magic was a silk screen from an old Studio Calico kit and this was the first time I've used it. I just thought it would work perfect in an December Daily album so I made one and through it in.

The whole secret Santa thing is such a great idea! All of us at work are wondering if he/she will say who they are. I don't think they should, I think they should just keep it to themselves and pick it back up next year. Guess we'll see.

December Daily- day 13

 Went to go see two of our nieces and a nephew in their church Christmas play. They were all so cute! I love little Christmas plays either at church or at school. The little kids really get into it.

Axel wasn't in the play, but he was just to cute not to take a picture of.

And that's what day 13 looked like.

December Daily - day 12

Welcome back to day 12. This is another very simple page that I threw together. Again nothing crazy or time consuming. 

I printed the heart December out on vellum, punched holes, and added right into the album 

This was the day we finally got around to doing our Christmas card photos. We were suppose to have had rain ALL DAY LONG, but thankfully it cooperated long enough for us to get our pictures done!!

December Daily- day 11

A simple page about a night out with friends. I wish I would have had my "big girl" camera with me, but all I had was phone and we asked a stranger on the way out of the restaurant to take our picture. So what do you do with a grainy blurry photo? You make it small and turn it black and white of course.

I would have preferred a big photo, but I worked with what I had. It's all about the memory not the photos right? Yeah, its about the photos too, but it is what it is.

 Finished the spread off with a card and called it done. Moving on to day 12.

December Daily - day 10

Hello Monday. Hello December Daily day 10. Nothing much went in on this day so I decided to document a few things that were laying around. 

How cute is that patterned paper from the main kit? I love it and knew I wanted to use it somewhere in the album, here seemed like the perfect spot.

A new ornament that a friend gave me, candy canes! and our initials S & D. I was actually going to put those on our mini stockings, but haven't gotten around to it. At this point it probably won't happen. Hope you have a great week!
