Happy Birthday America

Happy 4th of July. Today I'm thankful for my those who have served and are serving for my freedom because I know that freedom isn't free. I am glad that I live in America and I am proud to be an American. I hope you all are having a safe and fabulous day. Happy birthday America. 

Project Life week 17

I'm baaaaack, with week 17 of project life. I'm so far behind in getting these posted, well I'm behind in my weeks too but only by two. This week was documented parts of living in the trailer, a 34ft trailer to be exact. While its not bad, I am ready to get this house started, but mostly I'm ready to get it FINISHED!!! Hopefully soon.

Vacation mini album {part 2}

Hello Monday! I am NOT a Monday person as I'm sure you know, but I do love a new week, a fresh start. To help get the week started I wanted to share part 2 of my vacation mini album so that that'll be wrapped up and I can move onto the next big thing! So here goes....

I had to have this post card about the pier, well because I did walk it and I like that it said how long it was. 

The picture of David and me on the right is one of my favorites from the week. 

A close up of the sand and seashells that I brought back. And of course I had to add some sequins to the mix and  I love the pop of color they give it. Ill probably do this every time we do a beach vacation. 

And that's the end. I really loved how this album ended up turning out and I can't wait to go on the next big adventure. Hope you're having a great Monday. 

Vacation mini album {pt 1}

Finally getting around to sharing my vacation mini album, well part one of it anyway. I used the Studio Calico handbook collection and I love how it turned out. 

Not really sure why the album looks like its two different colors in these pics, guess its the lighting. But this picture is the color, I just used some paint to paint the outside of it and left the inside plain.

Since we still don't have Internet where we are staying I'm coming at you from my iPhone today. Let me just say that this no internet thing is really starting to grate on my nerves. I mean I NEED the Internet, I've got important stuff to post like current weeks if project life, pics from our vacation, and the album I made of our vacation. Oh oh not to mention I haven't done any online shopping in weeks and I'm sure there is just something out there that I'm missing out on. 😜 But it is what it is, I'll have to figure something else out. For now though I'll leave you with a couple pics from vacation. 

Oh have I mentioned that I'm so ready to go back? Well I am!! Happy Friday. 

Hello

Hello, hello!! Wow these past few weeks have been crazy. We just got back from our beach vacation to Florida and ever since we got home the internet where we are staying has been a pain and keeps disconnecting and is sooooooooooo slow and it won't even let me upload a picture,  but I'm still here and if it ever gets fixed I'll be back to share some pics from the vacation plus the mini album I'm doing.

Project Life Week 16

Wanted to pop in real quick and post week 16 of PL. This week started off very busy. We were moving and moving and moving. I was very surprised that we managed to get all of our stuff in our storage unit, but we did. whew!

Lots of pics of Gunner being lazy!! I guess moving wasn't his thing, it wore him out. LOL!

And of course our last night in the house. It was a little sad, but I am way more excited about the new house and can't wait to get started on it. Plus our trailer which is where we'll be living for now. Once we get started on the house we'll move it to the property. Off to finish week 17. What about you, are you doing project life?

This past weekend

This weekend was a busy one. Saturday we celebrated eight years of wedded bliss. Eight Years!! Crazy how fast it has gone by too. We've for sure had our ups and downs and ins and outs but it has been the best eight years. I couldn't imagine how different life would be if we weren't married.

Having this guy by my side is the reason I am who I am today. He is there for me, loves me, and will do anything for me. I really am a very lucky girl. Here's to fifty plus more years. I love you Babe!!

And then of course Sunday was Mother's Day. This is a holiday that is well deserved for mothers out there and I for one am glad that we celebrate it.

I am very lucky to have a mother like mine. She is the sweetest, most caring, and loving woman. I love her to pieces. Even though this holiday is a little bitter sweet for me ( I cried during church today) because of our fertility issues and praying and hoping for a baby for 7+ years it makes me sad to think of all the babies out there that don't know their mothers and I don't understand it, but I don't have to. All I have to understand is that this is God's plan and in time we'll know why.  I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!! Have a great week.

he's my favorite

I decided to go shopping instead of partcipating in national scrapbook day. I know crazy right?! But I did manage to get one layout done that I wanted to share. And I am working on some more layouts and of course getting caught up on PL.

And he really is my favorite. I can't even begin to think what my life would be like without him and I don't want to. What about you? Did you do anything for NSD?

Hello and happy Thursday morning! I wanted to pop in real quick before work and share a layout I did this week. With project life it seems like I hardly do regular layouts anymore. But I'm also going to blame living in the trailer and not being able to move too. And there isnt much light coming in so the picture is kind of dark, but enough blaming onto the layout.

The picture was a quick shot taking in the mirror at a hotel one weekend. I also take pictures like this when we are in motels, not sure why, but I usually love the way they turn out. Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a great day. Tomorrow is Friday- WAHOOO!!!
