Project Life - Week 13

Happy International Scrapbooking Day! Hopping on real quick to share week 13 this morning. This was the week that I also document a day in the life, so there's a few more pictures than usual.
To document a day in the life I used a baseball card size sleeve, Ali Edwards Day In The Life kit and her digital layered templates.
I took a lot of pictures throughout the day, but in the end I just picked the ones that I really liked and the ones that really represent what a normal day looks like around here.

I'm still loving that time/date stamp from the kit. I'm sure I'll be using it all the time.
And that's a wrap on week 13, my first insert for the year and my first time documenting a day in the life. I'm off to hopefully get some more creative time in today. Hope you have a great weekend.

Project Life Week 11 & 12

Hello hello and TGIF!!! Boy who else is excited that the weekend is finally here? I know I am, but then again I'm always ready for the weekend. Wanted to share weeks 11 & 12 today to hopefully get kind of caught up on sharing project since next week starts Week In The life and that will take up all of my time .
For whatever reason week 11 had very few photos. Not sure if it was just a busy week or I just didn't feel like taking any photos. Either way that's how life goes sometimes. But that full 12x12 photo makes me happy so in the end I'm more than happy with how the spread turned out.
Another large photo to start off week 12 and I love it too. The weekend was pretty busy with taking some SR. picture for two of my nephews and fishing and riding our side by side. This spread screams Spring and fun and sunshine to me. Love it!!!! Tomorrow is National Scrapbooking day and I've got plans to hopefully get caught up on some more of my projects so that I can give my full attention to documenting a week in the life. What about you, any fun scrapbooking plans this weekend?

Project Life - Week 10

Moving right along with Project Life. Here's week 10.
Girl Scout cookies for breakfast for the WIN!
Threw this embellishment in as a reminder to myself. I love it. It is the simple things that makes days beautiful.

Project Life - Week 9

Hello, Monday. Now that I've completed my Week In The Life album I'm playing catch up with my Project Life album. I know I've said it before, but man I hate being behind on this project or any project really. But life gets busy and hello if you're not living life then what to do you document?!?! Anyway I wanted to share week 9 today.
The YOU GOT THIS card is a printable card from Ali Edwards.
And thats a wrap for week nine. Hope you're having a great Monday.

Project Life - Week 8

Hey, hey welcome back. I've been having problems with blogger or my blog or maybe it's my computer or internet situation, who knows?? But I'm finally able to share week 8 today.

Once again mixing up the page protectors this week and I'm still loving it.
I see that there is a pretty good glare on these pictures. Man I can't wait to get into some more space so that I'll have more options for trying to get pictures of my spreads. But for now I'm dealing with what I've got to work with. Now that there is still some daylight when I get home from work that'll help. Hope your have a great week!

Project Life 2016 - Week 7

Ugh Monday! Yay Project Life!! Is it just me or am I the only one still looking for that lost hour of sleep?!? I'm all about the extra daylight I've got when I get home now, but boy today sure has been  tough one. Anyways, here's week 7.
Switched up the page protectors for this week and I love it.
I'm still all about stamping on the pictures. Both of these photos I used Kelly Purkey stamps. She knows whats up when it comes to stamping!
I cut a 12x12 page protector down and used my fuse tool here and I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to do what others have been doing for a while now. I'm sure this will be done throughout the album for the rest of the year!!
Hope your Monday was a good one.

Project Life 2016 - Week 6

Hello and happy hump day. The week is half over thank goodness! Sharing week 6 today and I really like the way this spread turned out. It's also the first week of the year that has a different size page protector. So far I've only used the design A, but after last year of mixing the sizes up I love the look of those spreads.
Sundays that start with a pre-church donut date with my love is always a good day.
I've never met a stamp, digital or physical, that I didn't like. This one is a digital one from Studio Calico. I'm always on the look out for stamps that can be used in my PL album, mini albums and my planners.
Of course Valentines weekend. I did a mini album here on how we celebrated this year. And another week is in the books. Hope you have  great day.

Project Life 2016- Week 5

Hello and welcome back. I'm sharing week 5 today. The first week of February. The month of love. Of course for me that means all things hearts and chocolate.
Heart shaped sunglasses and heart shaped chocolates to start of the month.
We ended the week with FINALLY deciding on our house plans and agreeing on all the changes to the plans that we both wanted to do!!!! On Saturday I let a couple women I work with talk me into doing the Hot Chocolate 5K in Dallas. Now that its over I'm really glad that I did it even thought it was so flipping cold that day. Plus how cute are these giant marshmallows?!?! I've even done a 5K this month too and am thinking about doing one next month. Keep in mind that I walk these I don't run them. I have no desire to run them, but don't mind walking them at all. And that's it for week 5.

Project Life - Week 4

Moving right along with Project life. This week wraps up January.
The first part of the week is how on Sunday afternoon I got back home, back in my pj's, with left over donuts from the morning and a new book. Still getting pretty cold of  a night and having frost of a morning. Tuesday I had a dentist appt to have  crown put on and came home looking like this. The picture cracks me up, but I always look like that when I leave the dentist yet another reason why I don't like going.
On Wednesday I went to the laundry mat and took my planner and a few supplies to work on it. It makes the time go faster when I have something to do if I go by myself. The weather over the weekend was perfect and we spent so much outside soaking up the sunshine both Saturday and Sunday riding the side by side. We got the side by side earlier in the month on the 14 and this was the first time we got to actually ride it. It really is a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to Spring so that we can ride it more.

Project Life - Week 3

Happy Valentines day weekend!! Any big plans for the weekend to celebrate or are you against the holiday? Me personally I LOVE IT. Any holiday that involves flowers (even though I tell the husband not to buy be flowers for this holiday) and candy is a big YES in my book. Not I believe you have to do something special on just one day a year. All through out the year is an even bigger YES! in my book.
But enough about lovers day and the heck yes or heck no, I wanted to hop on today to share week 3.

Another simple week. Once again I'm down with that and will probably keep it simple all year long. There are so many unfinished projects I've going on that I need to get completed and if keeping my PL album simple is what helps me get the others done then so be it. I hope you have a fantastic weekend and that you get a giant box of chocolates from your love, if not go buy yourself a box!!!

Project Life 2016- Week 1 & 2

Hello and welcome to Project Life weeks 1 & 2.
A few things about my PL process this year. I'm sticking with the 12x12 size album and like 2015 I'll be using different size page protectors in my album. Looking back at last years album I really loved the way the different sizes look in the album. And unlike last year I'm not doing the pictures with a white border. I like the way the white border looks, but I like like the full photo too. So back to that this year.
The more I use digital stamps the more I love them and want them. They are so easy to use and to be able to change the color and size to fit what you need. I'm sure I'll be purchasing  lot this year.

WEEK 2

That picture of Gunner in the hat? I love it and of course the digital stamp.
Still can't believe that we celebrated my oldest nephews 21st birthday this month. Crazy!! I'm still working on finishing up my 2015 album and I've only got December to go. Hope your Tuesday was a good one.

Project Life 2016: title page

Hello and happy Friday!!! Finally got around to finishing my 2016 title page. Pretty simple, nothing mind blowing about it. The filler cards are from one on Ali Edwards monthly story kits. The numbered paper clips are Dear Lizzy that I've had forever. One of my goals this year is to NOT hoard stuff. We'll see how that goes!

This is our crazy story. Here we go 2016.
