This past weekend

This weekend was a busy one. Saturday we celebrated eight years of wedded bliss. Eight Years!! Crazy how fast it has gone by too. We've for sure had our ups and downs and ins and outs but it has been the best eight years. I couldn't imagine how different life would be if we weren't married.

Having this guy by my side is the reason I am who I am today. He is there for me, loves me, and will do anything for me. I really am a very lucky girl. Here's to fifty plus more years. I love you Babe!!

And then of course Sunday was Mother's Day. This is a holiday that is well deserved for mothers out there and I for one am glad that we celebrate it.

I am very lucky to have a mother like mine. She is the sweetest, most caring, and loving woman. I love her to pieces. Even though this holiday is a little bitter sweet for me ( I cried during church today) because of our fertility issues and praying and hoping for a baby for 7+ years it makes me sad to think of all the babies out there that don't know their mothers and I don't understand it, but I don't have to. All I have to understand is that this is God's plan and in time we'll know why.  I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!!
