Valentines Mini Album

Hello and happy Tuesday. I hope y'all had a fantastic Valentines weekend and of course day off yesterday (if you were one of the lucky ones to be off). I had an extra long weekend, 4 days and I was NOT wanting to go back to work today. I was pretty productive this weekend and managed to actually start and finish our Valentines mini album and have almost completed my December daily album too.  A very good weekend in deed. And if you haven't had enough love, hearts, pink and flowers from the weekend then get a cuppa whatever you drink and have  a look at this super simple, but full of love mini, its a long one.

If you made it to the end, thanks for hanging in there. That's a lot of love in one mini album. I have to say I'm shocked that I actually started and finished this album all in the same weekend that it covers. Having a Monday off and not getting out of my pj's made for very productive day. I even managed to finish up my December daily album. I'm so ready to get some of my unfinished projects done and put up. Hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.

December Daily 2014

I hope everyone had a blessed and happy Thanksgiving. we sure did. I love Thanksgiving and all that it means. I'm so very thankful for so many things in my life, even though there are things I'd rather be able to change, my life is pretty darn good.

Today I wanted to share with you some of my supplies that I've gathered up for my December daily this year. I didn't buy any kits (even though  I wanted/would have loved to) it just wasn't in the budget. But oh, seeing what some of the people have already done with the kits, just makes me wish I would have gotten one. But it is what it is and I've got soooo much stuff that I've had forever that needs to be used so I "shopped" my own supplies for things to use and I'm pretty happy with what I found.
This picture shows all of the stuff that I've decided on using or at least trying to use. I picked up the tray from Hobby Lobby and love it. It fits 12x12 paper and so much more.
I went through ALL of my paper and believe me there is a lot here and found some I thought would look good together and was Christmas-y. There's a lot and I doubt I use all of them, but I have options and that's always a good thing.
I had the Dear Lizzy album already and decided to go ahead and use it instead of buying another album. I'm still trying to decide how I want to do the cover, but I'm leaning toward one idea. Hopefully it works out like I wanting.
I did sign  up for the class over at Studio Calico again this year and got the kit that came with the class, I love this class and I'm excited to see how Stephanie Bryan does it differently than Maggie Holmes.

I'm excited to get started on this project again this year and can't believe that December is on Monday!?!?!?!? How about you, are you dong a December Daly this year?

You are loved

You are Loved.
found here
Happy Good Friday all!! Just wanted to share this. I found it on Pinterest the other day and of course pinned it. I love it so much. This could be used for anything, any type of occasion. But I wanted to share it here today on Good Friday to remind people that they are in fact loved by the one and only Jesus Christ. This weekend we celebrate his death and resurrection oh him and there is no other greater love.  I pray that people start to see this and believe in Him and all that he has done, will do, and can do. Happy Easter!!

Sweethearts Day

Yep that's right, I'm talking about Valentines Day, February 14. And yes I know that we are already in March, but I finally have internet and I'm beyond excited to not have to blog from my phone anymore. Since I know and use my actual computer to post I want to start posting the stuff I didn't want to mess with on my phone and a whole lot of other stuff that I've got planned.

David had to work on Valentines day and on Saturday too so instead of going out we decided to cook at home and just spend the evening together. No fuss or anything. But since this is one of my fav holidays I couldn't just let it be a plain old Friday night at home. I had all sorts of ideas going through my mind and I wanted to do them all, but it just wasn't going to happen. So I opted for just some cute and easy rosettes and of course the heart banner that I've for a couple of years now. I wanted to make lots and lots of rosettes, but to make the big ones it takes two and half sheets of paper and for the most part I didn't have that much paper in one design so I went with some small, med, and large ones.

No lovers day is complete without red velvet cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries. YUM!!

It ended up being a great Valentines at home if I do say so myself.

Happy Easter {a day late}!

I hope everyones Easter was great! We started the day off with a bit of a storm that resulted in us not having electricity and getting ready for church in the dark. Not so much fun.

But since we had time to kill and couldn't do anything at the house we decided to go for donuts, which if I do say so myself was a great idea. And it was a plus for the two of us to just get to hang out. I love that.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate, it is very near and dear to my heart for so many reason, as it should be. Just knowing that Jesus Christ died for my sins and then arose from his grave all so that I could have a place in Heaven one day. I can't even describe what that means to me. For him to have suffered the way he did so that you and I could have everlasting life is something that we will never be able to repay. It truly is a blessing and I hope that you don't let it pass you by.

And yes, because of the rain and weather I wore my Hunters to church. What can I say at least my feet didn't get wet. Happy Easter!

It Was A White Christmas After All!

I was so hoping for a white Chirstmas and after raining ALL. DAY. LONG it finally started snowing and it was so pretty. I love when it snows, I always have. And the fact that we were up in the hills just made it that much prettier.

All of these were taking from inside our warm and toasty vehicle.

But we did venture out into it to snap a couple quick pictures of us and bout froze because we were not dressed for snow and the freezing cold, but for rain.

And because of all this white stuff we got a snow day which means no work and all play for me so I'm off to get bundled up and head outside. Hope everyone's Christmas was great!!
