This is me {mini album}

Almost a year ago to the day, I started this album. It was an online class that Studio Calico offered. I didn't sign up for it when it was first offered, but they later had a "sale" on their classes so I signed up for it at that time. This album is all about ME and who I am and it's one of my favorite albums to date. It's funny doing a whole album about YOU or it was for me anyway. If given the chance to do another album similar to this though I would!! So get your beverage of choice and have a seat this is a long one.....

This is me, this is all of who I am. I wear a lot of hats and more.

 Yep, I'm a twin. The story is pretty funny about how my mom didn't know she was pregnant with twins until two (2) weeks before her due date.

 I've worn glasses since I was super little. I have horrible eyesight and a lazy eye. It sucks, but it is what it is.

I can usually be found with a book in hand and I am such a homebody. I'm not one that has to be out doing something all the time. I like my alone time.

 Even though I am a homebody I have a crazy love of going to new places and vacations. Vacations are my jam. There's a great big world out there that is just wanted to be explored.

YES I AM and that is the BEST part about me.

I'm not me without him!

I LOVE SHOES!!!! I always have and I always will. I'd rather buy a pair of shoes over anything else.

This page was a hard one for me to put in this album, but it's me and it's what I'm dealing with. While I didn't want to hide my journaling I also didn't want it easily read so I printed it off on vellum and it works great. (just fyi.... infertility is a bitch)

 Up until this past year I have NEVER drank coffee, and now I'm hooked on iced coffee. I've always loved the smell of coffee, but never liked the taste. I still don't like hot coffee, but iced caramel mocho?? Yes please.

I had to add a page about my quirks. I only list a few because I know I have way more than this.

Some paper and glue



Trying to use up my Studio Calico kits and get more actually layouts done with them. I loved Februarys kits so much. All the pinks, golds, vellum, hearts!!!! On this layout I used some pictures from Valentines day that I really liked. This was a super easy and quick layout, just the way I like it.

And this picture of David and Gunner just HAD TO BE put on a layout. I love it so much. These two crack me up. It's another super easy and simple page. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is going great!

 

Project life week 7

Good morning all! I'm back today with week 7. It was a good, but short week as far as pictures go and I'm totally ok with that.

 We started the week off with not one, not two, but three birthdays. The first was my nephew's 4th birthday. He couldn't decide what he really wanted to do for the theme so its a whole lot of everything mixed in. I made the cake, it didn't turn out like what I was going for but they all seemed to love it so hopefully it really was ok. Then after leaving there we went to my mom's house to celebrate my sister and only one of my nephews. We actually celebrated their birthdays early but niece had made the cake and she wanted them to celebrate their birthday. What can I say? the girl is her Aunt Stacie's niece after all, we'll do anything for cake! We did date night in the middle of the week and that's always one of my favorite days of the week, whatever day we do it on.

Of course I'm always always always glad to see Friday roll around. It was pretty low key. I ran a few errands on Saturday then spent the rest of the day in my office.  The weather turned off pretty cold over the weekend and it was even calling for snow. All we got was some ice yesterday morning. I was really looking forward to some snow. Maybe next year. 



Project Life week 6

TGIF!!! Kicking off the weekend by sharing week 6 of my PL album.

We started the weekend off by a pre-church donut date (one of my favorite kind of dates)! This picture of David and Gunner is one of my favorites. I still can't believe he picked him and then of course he had to hold him longer then he intended I'm sure, for a photo. They make me happy.

That picture of my sister, my niece, and me, we were on the trampoline and it was getting dark, but my niece did not want to get off. It's been a long time since I've been on a trampoline and let me tell you, talk about a work out I should be thanking here for the exercise I got. LOL David and my brother cooking for us one. I never complain when someone else cooking and it was good. I had an extra long holiday weekend (4 days) and since David started nights on Friday after we got up I decided to work on heart shaped pancakes and they turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. And of course Saturday was Valentines day. Since he was on nights we didn't have any romantic plans just went to eat before he headed to work, but I did have sweets for my sweet and I'm just realizing I failed to add that photo to the spread so ill have to fix that. Project life week five

Good morning! Wanted to share week 5 of my PL today. I know I can't believe that the week just ended and I'm already sharing it. Go me! But in all honesty we all know that this won't be the case for the whole year. I'll probably be behind within the next few weeks. :) This was another short and simple week and let me just say that I'm kind of loving those types of weeks when it come to getting them done and in my album.

Photographing these types of layouts are going to take some getting used to though. Nothing to crazy going on in this spread and that's a good thing. I'm hoping to start picking up my camera some more in the next few weeks and try to push my creativity with it. We'll see. Hope your Monday is a good one.

Sugar, Buttercup, sweetheart......

Valentine's Day is this weekend!?!???!?!? I love Valentine's Day. I mean a holiday that combines pink and red and hearts and flowers and chocolate and all things lovey dovey, yes please! I've thought about and have decided on David's gift, but haven't picked it up yet (I'll get it closer to time) and I've got our plans for the day mapped out too. He's on nights next weekend, but I'm ok with that we'll just do our plans a little earlier in the day before he goes to work. Got to make it work however you can. Do you have your sweethearts gift/surprise bought and done yet? Have you even thought about it? Do you celebrate this holiday? As soon as I saw this free printable from Studio Calico I knew I had to download it and print it out. I resized it to 6x6 because I have plans to slip it into my project life album somewhere/how. You really should go check it out and download for yourself too.

Project Life weeks two, three, & four

 

Weeks 2-4 !! and yep I used a design A page protector, what can I say I just love this design and had
a lot I wanted to share for this week. But that was my plan for this year right? To use whatever page protector worked for that week depending on the number of pictures and other things I wanted to use. This week we celebrated Gunner's 2nd b-day and shopping. I snapped that picture of David before we left to go to work and that one of him where he is laughing? I love it!!

Week three....and there is design A again. My fav shot of this week was the one of David and me on national hug day. I didn't even know there was such a thing, but once I found out there was I had to document it. Not that I need a day to remember to hug him or anyone that I love for that matter, but still I love that here is a day for this.

Week four... I didn't have a whole lot of photos this week so it's like a week and a half spread and I kind of love it. And again that's my plan for the year. This week started off with date night on Sunday. We watched American Sniper and it was really good. The week ended with shopping and David on the roof of his mom's house. He didn't know I was taking pictures of him until after I'd already snapped a few and he turned around and saw my phone. HA! January is now in the books. Crazy that we are already in February. I'm off to work on week 5. Hope the rest of your weekend is a good one.
