Seattle

 Got home pretty late last night from a girls weekend trip to Seattle where we had sooooo much fun!! It was our first time to go Seattle so we tried to make sure we did we all the touristy things. We missed a few things that were on our list, but we've decided that we'll just have to go back sometime.;)  Of course we hit up Pike Place Market numerous times while there. They have THE prettiest and chap flowers there!! If I lived in Seattle I'd have fresh flowers all over my house every week.

I have so many pictures that still need to be gone through and I need to decide how I want to document this fab trip. Have you ever been? What did you most enjoy about it? What is the one thing you would do again? What is one thing you wish you would have done?

Hello, South Carolina

 

We just got back from our vacation last night. We headed to South Carolina, Myrtle Beach and Charleston to be exact, with my brother, his wife and daughter, and mother-in-law. I loved both places. They each offered something new and different. I wanted to share just a few pictures from both places (since they will end up in my Project Life album and in a mini  album I don't want to share the same ones over and over). First up Myrtle Beach.

The weather was great the whole time we were in Myrtle Beach. Since its done nothing but rain and flood here for what seems like weeks and weeks, it was nice to be somewhere were the sun was shining.

The Skywheel was one of my favorite things we did while we were in Myrtle Beach.

We ate, beached, played mini golf, shopped, ate some more, did the pier, broadway at the beach, did helicopter rides, and just had a blast. I'll share some pictures from Charleston later. Hope your week was a good one and that the weekend is even better! Oh, and Happy National Donut Day!

Camping



This past weekend we went camping, it was the first time we've been in our camper in over a year. After we finally moved into our house after living out of it for six months I didn't think I would ever want to set foot in it again, but wouldn't you know it I actually missed being in it. I'm sure it didn't bother me because we didn't have half of our house crammed into and we were only in it for a few days. Plus coming home and it only taking an hour to empty and clean out helped too. 34 feet is a whole lot easier to clean than 2000 sq ft. ;)  Before we left I decided to make a little mini album to put my pictures when I got home. I rummaged through all of my paper and found some that I like and would go in a camping album. I pulled a few other supplies too.

Last night I finally sat down to download the pictures and printout the ones I wanted to use. I didn't really think I had taken enough to do the album, but I've decided to just roll with it anyway. Hoping to get this album finished in the next couple of days. When I do I'll share. 

Sunday Drive

Yesterday after church and a family lunch we decided to go for a Sunday drive and ended up where we usually do. LOL But the weather was nice and being up there is always nice. We just rode around for a few hours and stopped a few times to snap some pictures.

So much fun just riding around and being together. Sometimes I wish we lived somewhere else, somewhere that had more to offer, but then we do something like this and I'm like nope, we'll just hang here. Happy Monday! Hope y'all have a great week.

Vegas mini

Finally got my Vegas mini album finished in all its cute goldness! So grab a drink and sit back, this post is pretty photo heavy.

We packed as much stuff into one weekend in Vegas as we could and still didn't get to everything that we wanted to, which just means of course, that we HAVE to go back. This is only the second time that we've been to Vegas and both times I've had fun and wouldn't mind going back. So I'm sure that Vegas will be in our future adventures, but for now I'm working on somewhere that we haven't bee

Viva Las Vegas

Hello Monday!! Hope you had a great weekend and that the week  goes good too. I thought I'd share a few of my pictures from our Vegas trip last weekend. While I had my camera or of course my phone with me at all times and to hear the people I was with you'd think I took loads and loads of pictures, but that's not the case after all. I did take several, but a lot was at night and in low light so there are a lot that didn't turn out. But I wanted to share some of the ones that did.

Our first night there we went to the Coyote Ugly bar in our hotel. While the pictures because of the lighting in the bar we still had fun and I wanted to share a few.

 After a little while there we just explored the city and did A LOT of people watching. LOL

Yep that would be my husband posing with Mario and Luigi (his idea). So not only were we people watching, we were getting watched too. :)

Then headed on down the strip to the Bellagio.



And of course the water show at Ceasars Palace. This was just about all that we did on first day, since we traveled on this day as well. I'll be back with day two and three. I am working on a mini album for this trip so I'm going to try and not show ALL of the same pictures that will be in the album, that way hopefully you'll keep coming back and not think that I'm just posting the same pictures over and over. LOL :)
