December Daily- day 11

A simple page about a night out with friends. I wish I would have had my "big girl" camera with me, but all I had was phone and we asked a stranger on the way out of the restaurant to take our picture. So what do you do with a grainy blurry photo? You make it small and turn it black and white of course.
I would have preferred a big photo, but I worked with what I had. It's all about the memory not the photos right? Yeah, its about the photos too, but it is what it is.
Finished the spread off with a card and called it done. Moving on to day 12.

December Daily - day 10

Hello Monday. Hello December Daily day 10. Nothing much went in on this day so I decided to document a few things that were laying around.
How cute is that patterned paper from the main kit? I love it and knew I wanted to use it somewhere in the album, here seemed like the perfect spot.
A new ornament that a friend gave me, candy canes! and our initials S & D. I was actually going to put those on our mini stockings, but haven't gotten around to it. At this point it probably won't happen. Hope you have a great week!

December Daily - day 9

Simple is key for me on this project this year. Not that it's not simple every year I've done it, but with the 4x6 size its really simple. And I love it!!!
I added the digital stamps to the photo in photoshop before I printed it out then slipped it into the page protector. Simple is the name of the game.
Added a star and word phrase to the 9  card. Used one of the wooden pieces with some sequins on the other side. I used my fuse tool again to close it up. Can't believe that this month is moving along so fast. I'll be back with day 10. Happy Sunday!

December Daily - day 8

Santa, Baby I've been an awful good girl. Thought I'd include my wish list for day 8. You know to make sure that my husband I mean Santa knows what to get me!!

I used my fuse tool to keep the stars and the tree in place.
Found these super cute tags on Pinterest and thought they were so cute and I had to use them.  I'm thinking I may print some more out and use them on my gifts!
I'll take one of everything please!! Here's hoping Santa gets the message.

December Daily - day 7

We hit the local parade on Monday night. Thankfully it wasn't freezing and it didn't last forever. I only took my Instax camera with me and snapped a few before it started. I took a few pictures of the actual parade, but they didn't turn out that good, but I still added them to the pile.
I new I wanted to add an envelope or something to hold the Instax photos and decided on a glassine bag. I punched holes in the end and just added the star and paper clip to the top to help keep it closed.
I'll be back tomorrow with day 8!

December Daily - day 6

Welcome back to day 6 and a mini baking photo shoot with my niece. It all started when I saw this super cute chef's hat at Hobby Lobby and talked my sis-in-law into buying for the purpose of a photo shoot. It really was fun and my niece loved making the cookies just as much as she loved making a mess I think.
I used a stamp and some gold embossing powder on the journaling card after I ran it through my printer to print out my journaling. I cut down a 4x6 page protector to 4x4 to hold the picture and added the rubber flags to the edge.

I love baking and especially holiday baking. I'm thinking I might need a chefs hat too!!

December Daily- day 5

I'm back with day 5 today. We did a little more Christmas-y stuff yesterday and I had a lot of pictures I wanted to include. So I did two collages and added a transparency from the kit that I cut to fit and used the silk screen from the kit on top of that. Not a lot of thought went into this spread, but I'm totally ok with that. I wanted the pictures to be the main focus.

December Daily - day 3 & 4

Hello and Happy Saturday peeps! I'm back today sharing days 3 & 4. Which also means I'm all caught up on this project. So far I'm keeping it more than simple and getting it in the album and that's what's working for me. I'm hoping that the further we get into December the more Christmas-y stuff we'll do and I'll get a little more creative. Who knows we'll see.
Again living in the camper meant that I went on the hunt for "mini stockings" and that is what day 3 documents.
Everything in mini form really is cute, right?

Day four is all about me being a Christmas movie junkie!! What can I say I LOVE Christmas movies. Always have always will.
The stamp is from Kelly Purkey last year.I stamped it onto a tag and embossed it with red. You can't really see it all that good in the picture.
Never thought I would like Elf as much as I did, but I can already tell that it will become one I watch over and over again. Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to have some Christmas fun!

December Daily- day 2

Welcome back to day two of DD album. Keeping it simple again with this day. I cut one of the two 3x4 sheet protectors down to hold just one 3x4 pictures and added a tab to the side.

Added a W to one of the trees from the kit and glued it down.

Decided to not do any journaling for this day. Just figured the picture spoke for itself and didn't need anything else.

P.S. that coke and candy bar was SO GOOD! I'm pretty sure I'll being having it again (and again) before the month is up!

December Daily-day 1

Hello December!! How crazy is that, that it's already the end of 2015? I wanted to share day one of my December daily album today. Once again I'm using the 4x6 size and so far I'm really liking it. Of course seeing what others are doing with the bigger 6x8 size kind of makes me wish I'd have gone with that size, but it is what it is.
The title page. I cut up one of the transparencies that came with the kit and added a few emblishments to it.
I used a free calendar printable from Marie Lottermoser from A Stitch in time and just resized to 3x4. So cute!
And finally the story of day one. It was about our "tree" or lack of one since we are living in the camper. But I really like the way this "tree" setup looks.
I messed up the journaling card when I printed it and it was really to small, but decided to roll with it anyway.
And finished the spread off with a cute little heart and tree word. Hoping this weekend to get my others days photographed since it's dark by the time I get home from work and when I photograph them of a morning (when I have time) I don't really like the way they look either. We'll see. Happy Friday eve!!
